Ground floor
Entrance from the courtyard into the spacious living/dining combo (36m2) with oak ceiling beams, terracotta tiles on the floor (the so-called ‘tommettes’ that originally covered the attic floor) and fieldstone walls. The cosy wood stove is a central feature in this room, along with the steel spiral staircase up to the attic.
The living room is seamlessly connected to the roomy kitchen (27m2), with which it shares the tiled floor, natural stone walls, and ceiling beams. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge, dishwasher, and a large range cooker. There is also a separate entrance to the kitchen from the courtyard, which is particularly handy when dining or having a drink outdoors.

Bedrooms and sitting area
Accessible using the spiral staircase. From the landing, you can access two spacious (approx. 25m2 of floor space each) and bright rooms, each with an open bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin, toilet, and underfloor heating. Both bedrooms have two single box-spring beds, which you can, of course, join together. The beds in one of these two rooms are 2m20 long. Both rooms have tall ceilings (5m to the ridge!), featuring authentic trusses and natural stone walls. The two bedrooms are separated by a large landing.

Outside area
In the large courtyard (over 400 m2) in front of the house, you will find a terrace and a bench. Behind the house, the elevated rose garden offers various lovely seating areas: under the wisteria leaves (or flowers if you’re lucky) or in the sun with gently rustling bamboo behind you. The garden complex (4,000 m2) is a lovely place for a quiet wander, where you will always find a shady spot to sit down to read or daydream, or a sunny spot to soak up the rays.
All the usual ingredients for outdoor enjoyment are available, including a barbecue, garden furniture, and outdoor games.

Logement Mme Chapelle is 100% non-smoking and dogs are allowed only after arrangement in early and late season.
